The first step in the admissions process is to contact the Fraser Health Authority and arrange for an assessment (ph. 1 855 412 2121). Once the assessment is completed and the need for a care home has been determined, a Fraser Health case manager will help you through the next steps of choosing a care home.
 
The new Preferred Care Home (PCH) and Interim Care Home (ICH) policies in British Columbia will guide you through the process of selecting your preferred care home (you can choose up to three) or an Interim care home if needed while waiting for a vacancy. admission & Access process

For a tour of Buchanan Lodge please contact Reception at 604 522 7033. Tours are scheduled Tuesday afternoons and only by appointment. The specific start time may be flexible and the tour usually takes about 30 minutes. Other afternoon options may be arranged if necessary. Please read through our website and the Family Handbook before coming on your tour so all your questions can be answered.
